Tim Brooks was recently featured in SuccessfulMeetings.com, commenting on the 2009 Industry Outlook, and
"...offered this picture: reduced number of meetings, days shaved from existing bookings, cancellations on 8 percent of pre-existing contracts, and groups experiencing attrition up to 25 percent. He said meetings will be booked even closer to operating dates, and hotels will begin to offer discounts in return for greater prepayment.
